We share the page with 50 cent, Sweatshop Union, Kanye, Jay Tablet and some other dope heads. Check it out if you have a moment..

Rapcast.tv is featuring the “Tale of the Tape” mixtape from allhiphop this week on their website. It has a nice little drop from The Dirt Merchants mixtape, “Show Me Way” - as theres 3 songs featured. If you have a moment, check it out here: http://www.rapcast.tv/2009/02/tale-of-the-mixtape-please-seal-waynes-leak-the-best-of-charles-hamilton/
Come kick it with us. We’re gearing up for this second album release, playing a few shows here and there. This is one of them. In the meantime, check out our good friends Dirty Penny who just got off a national tour. Stay tuned!
Our good friend Kayy, producer for Custom Made, featured Madix on one of his joints from his debut album. This track is from a year or two back but was never officially released until now. You can check it out at Kayy’s website - a definite classic for anyone who’s a fan of The Dirt Merchants Something From Nothing album.
Stay tuned….thanks to everyone who has been spreading the word on the mixtape. We’re currently planning our summer tour and putting the finishing touches on this album.

Wow. It’s been a busy past few weeks. As we promised, we wanted to let all of our friends and fans know first - we’re excited to announce that our good friend Marty James of One Block Radius was in the studio with us last week. He blessed us with a really dope track - for those that don’t know Marty is the genius behind a lot of great music - don’t believe me? just check his myspace
Big ups to MDA, Z-Man and the entire OBR squad, we’ll keep you all updated as it becomes closer to the release date - stay tuned!
Whats up everybody? I wanted to give everyone a quick update on the progress of the album as things are shaping up very well. The fellas were in the studio last week with Chief Kamachi working on a track that came out really dope, excited for everyone to hear it. We also have a few more surprises as far as features go, a certain friend of ours, (who we can’t name just yet…. but we’re sure you all know of) blessed us with some serious heat - Bennett banged out the track up in oregon just this past weekend and from what ive heard it is amazing. There is a strong possibility it will end up being the single.
In other random news, Jahan, (of Fourteen 39) and who also happens to be one of our good friends is currently on the road with The Expendables, they are on tour with Less Than Jake - if you have a moment go catch a show. The Expendables kill it live.
That’s it for now, we’ll keep you updated as things progress on the album.
Hope everyone’s having a good week. We are excited to let everyone know we are finally on iTunes. Currently, the only album available for purchase on iTunes, is our debut: “Something From Nothing” which was released in 2005. This album is the product of many, many, many hours of work from the crew. I am confident if you haven’t heard it and are a fan of hip hop - it is right up your alley. Anyways, enough small talk, regardless, click the link below and stream the tracks for free.
We will also be releasing our second LP through iTunes (along with a host of other channels) when it is complete this summer. In the meantime, download the mixtape, check us on iTunes - and stay tuned!

Whats up everybody, so as Silas was browsing around the internet this morning, he noticed that the fellas over at Allhiphop.com must be feeling the new Dirt Merchants Mixtape: Show Me The Way. They posted it on their weekly Mixtape blog “Tale Of The Tape” - Allhiphop.com is one of the staples in the online hip hop world. The mixtape shares the page for the week with Charles Hamilton, Mack Maine, JTheS and Lil Wayne, They had some nice words to say, check it out below…
“Dirt Merchants
Show Me The Way
Heavy Rotation
Coming from California’s capitol are the Dirt Merchants. Their latest project, the first in 4 years, Show Me The Way, is a good, albeit short, collection of work to prime listeners in as they prepare a sophomore LP. They seem to be a group that works together well in tandem (“Show Me The Way”) and can really hit with beats and rhymes (“Prime Time”) in that California style (“Northern Cali”). Hopefully it won’t be another four years until something new comes out.” Continue Reading..

Damn this week has been busy. Let me start this out by saying - the new music is going to drop jaws! Bennett sent me some mp3s to check out of the shit hes working on and it is fucking rawwww. I can’t wait to get this new material out for everyone to hear. Thanks to everyone whose been reaching out - youre the shit.
In other news, the homies at Rockthedub.com posted up a pretty dope feature on the mixtape, big shouts to Khal for lacing that up.
“In their first release since their 2005 LP Something From Nothing, the Dirt Merchants murder every beat that comes their way, without over-staying their welcome. The tape clocks in around 20 minutes, but their bars are packed. Some of that real Hip-Hop for you freaks out there.”… continue reading..
